Full Job Description

Tronweb  is looking for a Software Project Manager. The Software Project Manager is responsible for leading multiple teams of global resources through Agile SDLC. Regular daily management of internal and external resources, client communications and ensuring teams adhere to SDLC control guidelines throughout the ongoing development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project deliveries. Lead process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

The Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. They will independently ensure the project is proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Full project life cycle ownership in Agile environment
  • Provide on-site leadership and planning for clients, as needed
  • Attend and lead daily calls, both internal and client-facing
  • Provide daily pro-active updates, notes, and task tracking
  • Work closely with Scrum Masters and other Project Managers to oversee daily progress and communication on multiple scrum teams
  • Act as an internal quality control check for the project
  • Manage project scope and changes
  • Attend weekly management meetings with the client to address any updates, challenges, and future planning needed
  • Report on project success criteria results, metrics, testing and deployment management activities
  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating to the client and internal leadership
  • Prepare executive reports and attend bi-weekly meetings to present for the same
  • Work creatively and analytically to encourage teamwork, innovation, and excellence
  • Coach and mentor team members on best practices
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities within the teams
  • Work with Director of Project Management to procure adequate resources to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes
  • Monitor staff performance and act on client escalations with assistance from the Director of Project Management
  • Understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
  • Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
  • Support formal/informal schedules to manage multiple teams
  • Handle weekly work log approvals, leave requests, and monthly reconciliation for the Accounting department
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Continue professional development in order to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Excellent experience in SDLC Methodologies, primarily Agile / SCRUM methodologies – SAFe Agile certification preferred

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
    PMP certification or equivalent.
  • 5 – 8 years of project management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • 3+ years of previous experience with managing requirements from the client and documentation
  • 5+ years of experience with full product lifecycle with the understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with  Microsoft Office and Clickup software with experience reporting and presenting to leadership
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of meeting business needs
  • Proven ability to work in a remote environment with global teams
